Barely one kilometer from Borgholm you can enjoy a pleasant stay in a country-house. In front of the white main building we were met by the proprietor Ulf Olsson who likes talking about the varied history of the estate. Ulf himself was a DJ before Guntorp became his life-work. The hotel opened in 1985 - the restaurant in 1995.

Everyone longing for a real Swedish smörgåsbord - here it is served every day.

Apart from the traditional selection you can choose a range of local specialties, like elk salami sausages from Rosa's Deli at Böda, an appetizer you shouldn't miss. After dinner you are invited to try a classical Swedish Brandy and lemonade.

Wine- and chocolate-tastings are arranged. For a swing there is even a heated outdoor pool.

For the children: Up to the age of 12 SEK 65. Bathing in Köpingsvik.

Worth seeing: the Ruined castle, Solliden - Summer residence of the Royal family, the beautiful scenery of Öland, Borgholm only a 10 minute walk away.
